overdraft with my bank and I never paid it and its been almost a year later and they sent me letters earlier in the year telling me it was going to collections and I cant find the letters now so how do I find out what collections it was sent to so I can pay it
you have to find out in the bank if they did send you to collection. first of all pay of that money, i had the same situation, and they actually didt send me to collection. So just contact the bank. It might take longer than a year for them to send you to collection, like happened in my case.

collections case you can make the pamyent any where in any branch of the bank ,Atm & can call the Call centre ask for outstanding & ask them to leave a msg to collections stating that youre going to make the payment before it can get worse ..better call them right now

go to the nearest branch and ask, call the local branch number, go to their website and email them or pull your credit and look at who is collecting (trying to anyway) from you.

you can attempt to go to the bank and ask about it or you can file for a free credit report and it should show it as a default outstanding credit, just contact the listed company and it should then be a resolved issue.

Call the bank. Call the branch you belonged to, explain that you want to clear up the problem, and I'm sure they will be more than willing to help. Use Google for the bank's phone number, and if that branch can't help (or no longer exists or something like that), call the corporate offices.
