This is the third attempt to cancellation my subscription. My credit card bill was received today and as I feared my renewal was charged to my credit card. What do I have to do to receive credit for this error on the part of YaHoo?

If you have cancelled an automatic deduction from C/C you need to tell the merchant (usually in writing) as well as the bank.The bank will not stop automatic deductions you have authorised unless the merchant has been informed as well.Ensure you so so in writing and send a copy of your request you sent to themechant requesting payments to cease to your bank as well. |

Contact Yahoo and request written confirmation that the subscription is cancelled. |

They don't want to cancel them. Write them a note and make a copy of it that you are canceling them because you will not get them on the phone . |

They purposely make it difficult!! You have to get pretty demanding and almost shi!!y with these people to get anything done, as in a refund... Try to find a 800 number... If you cannot get them trough email, and contact your credit card company to let them know you DID NOT approve the transaction.. |
