Terrible credit credit cards?
My credit is not bad because I can't handle money, I have never had an account open in which I would receive credit if I paid on time or vice versa.

Two medical bills, small $100 and $125

And a phone bill of $200, a home phone bill to boot.

So as you can see, Ive been turned down so many times by all those assholes who claim bad credit isn't a problem, thus hurting my score even more by applying for like 50 differn't places, I was grilled at the auto place because of this, they said this makes it look bad on me.

Anyways, the last time I checked my score was 400, is there any credit cards who will accept me, and how do those online credit store cards work if I have to build credit that way I will. Thanks

Are the medical bills and phone bill the only things on your credit report? Or are these just the negatives?

These are pretty small amounts. Pay them off. They should fall off your credit report in 7 years from the default date.

In two years, all those hard pulls for the 50 credit applications should fall off as well. That has really killed your score.

If you have a bank account, apply for a debit card. If you handle your account and debit card well, apply for a credit card through your bank. The other option is save up some money and apply for a secured credit card (with your savings). I got my first credit card when I bought a sewing machine. My credit limit was $295 (the price of the machine). My next credit card was a gasoline credit card. Try applying for credit when you make a small purchase some place like Sears. Good luck!

If you stop asking for credit cards, then your score will go up. If that's not your problem, then maybe you aren't being truthful.

Major credit card issuers like Discover, American Express and Chase offer a credit card for bad credit holders. A 'shopping' card offers you an unsecured line of credit from specific sellers. Use these cards to increase your credit rating, since the credit bureaus will be informed about your timely payments.

Take care to ensure your credit is good by making intelligent credit choices. Keep low balances, do not be extravagant and take care to pay off your balances promptly every month.

Don't be in a rush to have credit. Pay your utilities and medical etc on time. Buy a used car for cash, and in a few years you'll have good credit. Trying to rush it is going to get you deeper in the hole with more bills, and if you can't afford them your credit will be worse.

Do you own a home or are paying a mortgage ? if so you can maybe consolidate. Pay them all off......try a lender site like lbalending or someother one. There are tools on that site that help you but I suppose others do to, I just know that one. They specialize in bad credit cases.

Go to Walmart, get a store credit card, the card will only be good there, and the interest will probably be high, but it is a great place to start, that is what I am doing.

Pay all your monthly house bill on time, have more money in your checking and savings acount, stay in your good paying job for at least 2 more years, then apply for a major credit card. I'm very sure you will be approved. Do not keep on checking your credit score - this will pull your score down. If you can't be approved for any credit card - then you probably have no income for the amount that you want to borrow at the time you are applying. (insufficiency is what they call it)

There are many things you can do to fix your credit score. First of all, quit applying for loans and lines of credit that you aren't going to get approved for. You need to clean up your report and get into good standing with the bureaus for your score to go up.

I got help from a credit counseling service that took me from a 580 to 700. That's what I'd recommend, because they consulted on what I should do and handled a lot of it for me.

Also, you can get tons of information on the web for ways to improve credit. It's about being smart with your financial decisions and not getting behind on your bills, so stay up-to-date with any payments.

I would suggest you stay away from traditional credit cards and get a bank credit card. The fees are not quite as high, (depending on the bank) and it will be easier to get. Seeing as how your credit is in the dumper, you might want to talk to the bank and see if they will give you a secured card, this means that you have to put money in it and if you do a good job of paying off your bills the credit line will increase. If you must have a credit card read the terms and conditions. This is a must. Lots of luck
