You could try. I've seen a lot of companies issue two cards to the same person.
Have you tried calling or going online to increase your limit first? |

yes. if the 1st one is in good standing and your credit is ok, they will issue you another one |

if you like the terms and conditions, and the interest rate, it may be better just to get a credit increase on your credit card. then you don't have to wait, and from my experience, it much easier to get a credit limit increase then it is to get a new card with the company. if you get a new card, they can also change the terms and APR from the one you have now. and not for the better. |

You can do so, and it may or may not play. I have two cards from one bank (one of which I don't even remember having applied for), and use both. Or, you can apply to another bank -- there are certainly lots to choose from. (I get about one solicitation a week.) |

You can always contact them and ask for an increase. They will review your payment history and based their decision on how timely you are in paying your debts. |

They will still check your credit to see your activity. They will see that you have one already. If Capital One has another type of card then it may be easier. If you want a higher credit limit, speak to them directly to raise your limit. |

yes you can. I have two different credit cards with Capital One. Both have different terms and credit lines. |

Capital One does allow you to have more than one--if you qualify for whatever the card offer is. Keep in mind though, by applying (yes, even if it's with the same company) their inquiry to determine credit worthiness could lower your credit score (because it notes on your credit report as an inquiry).
Learned this the hard way! |

You can but why would you want to be twice as much in debt? Better to pay off the one you already have. Amazingly, the more you pay off on credit cards, the higher they raise your limit but you have to start getting them paid off first. |
