Visa is an international company. Anywhere the Visa logo is displayed a visa credit card or debit card should be usuable. Pick the credit card option, but type in your debit card info such as account number and expiration date. As long as you have a sufficient amount to cover the debit in your checking account, your card is active, and you haven't gone over your daily usuable limit, the card should work. So double check the info you enter and if it's rejected, check with your financial institution and they should be able to tell you why it's not working. They receive codes letting them know why transactions reject. Give it a try. |

Most companies that I know of accept Visa debt. It's like a Visa card but the money gets deducted from your bank account. When you go to the checkout page, select "Visa". |

Practically all of them do.... just select as "VISA" like you would with a VISA credit card if there isn't a seperate VISA DEBIT payment option. |

I have a Visa debit card through Bank of America. I've used mine to buy stuff online a lot. Every site I've tried to order from has accepted it just fine. In the last year I've ordered from Newport News, JC Penney, Sears, Office Depot, WalMart, Cafe Press, Hanes, Keds, and Herrschners (craft supply), as well as on Ebay through PayPal. Be very careful when ordering online though......make sure before you order that the site has a "contact us" tab listing an actual phone number in case you need to call and talk to a human. I once ordered a music CD from a site called GAC (country music) they took my money and claimed it had been shipped, but I never got my CD. When I tried to investigate there was only an e-mail address to contact them and they never answered any of my messages. So, be careful and use your head. |

As the others have said, if they accept Visa, the debit card number will work.
However, you may want to be cautious in how you use it.
1) When you use a credit card you have recourse against the merchant through the credit card issuer. When you use a debit card, you do not have recourse. Recourse means you can dispute a charge which is fraudulent, get refunds for returned merchandise, etc.
2) Because a debit card directly accesses your bank account, your account could be cleaned out by fraud before you even know it, even if you check it daily online. |

I haven't found any that do not accept it. If they accept visa odds are they will accept the visa debit. |
