When and how you should be paid
When you start work your employer should tell you:
the day/date on which you'll be paid - for example, each Friday, or the last working day of the month
the method of payment (in cash, by cheque or directly to your bank)
If you are an employee, you must be given a document which tells you how much you'll be paid, and at what intervals, within two months of starting work. |

Yes they can. They can do what they want if they do it correctly, if they state in your employee hand book that they can and you sign to the effect that they can change when they choose they are not limited to what they can do. Now if they are with holding cash month to month or simply dont make enough money to cover the employees paychecks, you should just look for another job, because they are going to go out of business and you are gonna have to do that anyway.
But if it is that they are changing their pay periods to cover the 1st and 15th and not week to week or every other week then they should be in accordance to law. My advise is to find out why they are doing the change and then act accordingly. |

It depends on how ur getting paid if its cash in hand then of course she can as u havnt got a contract, if its monthy then the day changes and the date, four weekly u should get it say on a friday every 4 weeks, hope this helps. |

within reason yes
if you are paid every 4 weks for example then the day physically changes.
or if you are paid on last working day then sometimes this will be 31st, sometimes 30th or 29th or 28th (or 27th or 26th or even friday 25th in February).
I used to be paid on 15th of month at 1 company. If it was a saturday we got it on 14th, if it was a sunday we got it on 16th, otherwise we got it on 15th.
so it's possible |

it will state in your contract what date you are supposed to be paid on, check to see if you get paid monthly or every 4 weeks as this might be why it seems that it is a different date each month. |

The only time is see this happening is when the company has money problems making payroll. Better start looking for another job before you do work that you have to file a claim for back wages due to you. |
