No that is not correct. The whole idea of the points is that people don't just come here to make questions. It is sort of a way to make people participate and then for those that do, get in the rankings for having a good answer written. For example, after you go an flag my answer as the best (no doubt about it), then my points will grow but, nothing happens to your total.
Points are deducted from your total when you ask questions.
There are some sites that would pay such as justanswers.com and I think also chacha.com. Not sure how they work but you can take a look at them. |

They pay you 5p a question and 20p for best answer..... At the end of the month you get a cheque sent to you then you can spend it on anything you like.... maybe the fairies in your head? |

when you get to level two, you get 100 shares in Yahoo ..... and those people with 1000 pts get 1000 shares, 10000 you get 10000 more shares .... no money, but you do get a lot of shares, which after 5yrs you are free to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
