Capital One will give you a card with $500 no matter what.
Use it as much as possible and pay much more than your minimum payment. It won't be long before they up that amount...they love it when you pay more than minimum.

I had the same problem just a little while ago, capital one has a card to help people who need to establish credit/inprove their credit, usually the credit line startes at $500 and after 3 month if you dont screw up (make any late payments go over credit line) they increase it to $750 creditline the apr is not great at 19%, and after having it for a few more months your credit gets better and other credit card offers seems to pour into your mailbox, and better ones as well. I applied just a little while ago for a great credit card for 0% until april 2008 then afterwards it goes to 9.9% I got approved and have a better credit line as well. So I know the capital one card really helped with my credit. Because before that I didnt have any credit (I didnt have good or bad since I am young 21 years old) so go to capital one web site and look for that credit card that I just explained to you |

DON"T GO TO CAPITAL ONE
You have to take in consideration many factors that will eventually make your credit. I just went to a meeting about 10 days ago where the topic was improving credit. Maybe Capital One will give you a credit card regardless of you current credit status. However one of many factors to calculate credit has to do with high balance/high limits.
Per say, if you get a credit card with $500.00 Credit Limit and you only use $200.00...you've only used 40% of the credit that has been allowed for you to use. This is good.. if you spend $500.00, then you have used 100% and that's not good, that will lower your score. Capital One counts your high balance as your High Limit. So if you spent $200.00, they will report that as your current high balance and limit... showing 100% usage... lowering your score.

secured credit care that reports to credit companies, finance a car at a buy here pay here lot that works through a financing company, if you do not have any credit at all apply for store credit cards- walmart, kmart, goody's, cato's, they will give you a card even if it only has a low line of credit. |

Why do you say you can't? Have you tried Capital One, Bank of America, Washington Mutual? Heck honey! They are more than ready to give you a high interest rate credit card if you have no credit or bad credit. Just don't let it get out of control because they will eat you alive. |

just get a capital one master card , all u have to do is call them and they will definitely an unsecured major credit card .U will be able to use it anywhere in the world where master card is accepted.That's how i got my credit back on track when i had bad credit rating and no other financial institution was offering me a credit card. GOOD LUCK ! |

I started with a gas card, and paid that in a timely manner, and eventually every credit card company in America solicited me with offers. My friend says a quicker way is to take out a loan at your bank, turn around and pay it off, and do it a couple more times (with $100 each), and pretty much the same thing. |

Store credit card - Walmart, Target, Macys. You should not worry about what the interest rates are on any of these cards because you will PAY OFF the cards in full each month. This is the only way to have really good credit. |
