I recommend the Orchard bank card. They are easy to get and help build your credit history.

get a gas card, and pay off the balance when due. This will increase your credit score. Later on get a credit card, but again pay off the balance. Credit is a privilege, so respect it.

You can probably get any credit card. They will put a limit on how much you can charge on the card and it will be low until you can prove yourself. But read a lot of these posts. There are many people here who are in credit card trouble because they don't know how to budget their money. Don't get caught in the credit trap! It's very difficult to get out of! Good luck!
