Beneficial if used responsibly - unfortunately they get a lot of people into serious debt. |

Unless you are very self-disciplined indeed, you should avoid them. |

they can be benifical so long as you don't abuse them.
sometimes things go wrong and normally when something breaks there always something that follows . you might have enough money to by the first item but what about the fridge /freezer that just broken down in the middle of summer don't get paid for another three week .what would you do .
put on the credit card set up standing order for the payments to go straight out of the bank every month when you get paid and forget about it . you can set upthe payment so it finishes when the balance is clear you can set up th epayment for weekly ,monthly what ever you want.
just don,t go above what you can afford ,get a small balance.
just for those little emergencey |

credit cards should only be used to make money for you...as you spend only the CASH from profits.
let me explain.
find a venue to resell goods...flea market, bizarres, yard sales, face-to-face...
spend some time at these venues to see what sells...
research sites that sell returned goods (new, not used)...surplus goods...wholesale goods...
use your card to purchase the products (benefit-no money out of your pocket)
resell the products at the selected venue.
immediately pay the balance on your card and pocket the profit.
duplicate the process....always have an end use for your profit.
keep some for yourself and use the rest to duplicate at a greater level for more profit (example: hats to brand named jeans to new discounted household goods to used cars to real estate...you don't have to do it this way...what i am saying is always have your money working to make you more money...because money that is not working WILL BE SPENT...just like credit limits which do not work for you WILL BE MAXED OUT)
get incorporated, build corporate credit and duplicate with those credit lines.
i realize that this is oversimplified...this is just a generalize flowchart.
i trust that you are intelligent enough to do the necessary research to make this work...and it will.
think about. if you've got a balance of $100...all stuff for yourself...how does that compare to $100 worth of goods that can be sold? you're never going to make profit on jeans and shoes that you bought for yourself using a credit card are you?
someone mentioned that the credit card was used to take advantage of the "poor" (which can include all income levels) and "middle class"...mmm.
well, the card is in inanimate object...human beings have free will...mmm. the card can not take advantage of people.
poor, middle, upper class...all these groups are subject to being "poor" or broke a**es...relative to their group.
the problem with us is that our MINDs are trapped in consumer mode...like grazing animals...
we hardly ever place ourselves in BOSS position.
the test to determine whether you are temporarily a "cow"...
if i gave you a credit card with a $250.00 limit what would be your response? ...
some may look at this and say two things:
1. ooo i could buy this and that.
2. what the hell am i going to buy with that?
if thats the case....you're a "cow" (which can be temporary...since the human has free will-right?)
a small number of people would respond...
1. ooo i could buy these jeans wholesale and sell them at the flea market...you're in BOSS mode.
the ONLY people that CONTROL most of the economy...not...lower, middle, or upper class...they are business owners. This is proven without the shadow of a doubt!
Please keep this in mind.
i've found out the hard way.
if you need more information just email me. |

Not needed, just a way for a company to make you pay for the use of your own money. |

i dont use one and dont plan to. if ya dont have money in the first place how can you pay back what ya didnt have? its one thing to say youre gonna be responsible with it, but another when youve got the cash on tap like that. |

They're great for me because I only get paid once a month. So if something comes up in the middle of the month and I don't have enough to pay for it, I can just put it on my credit card and pay it off the next month. They're a waste of money if you max them out and are charged really high interest rates. |

I'd rather have a Debit card in the future..that way I don't owe any bank anything and I'll know what money I put in the card and what I'm spending.Credit cards can be a waste when used carelessly..depending on one's limit. According to my father (who happens to be a banker) they are beneficial, especially when you need to buy something urgently and you don't have the money at the time. But i'll still stand my grounds..as I don't really believe in them. |

Great as a way to get all your payments together so that you can pay them once a month. BUT you need to know that you are a naturally responsible spender. If you are not they are a trap because the interest rates are very high compared to almost any other way of borrowing.
They are convenient and relatively cheap as a way to pay for things when you are abroad but your debit card may do the same things for you when you travel, if you have the right one. |

they're ok if you keep up the payments on them. |

They are very beneficial and very dangerous.
They are a nice way to clump all your expenses into one medium. Also, its a lot easier to carry a card than a lot of cash. If you lose your card you can simply cancel it without harm down, whereas with cash you'd be out the money.
However, if you don't pay them off monthly, they can cost you. |

Easy to get, easy to spend, hard to pay back, get into debts, bad credit et,al. If you are a first time user please use my advice...DO NOT BUY ON IMPULSE...simple: If you have a tv and you want an upgrade to maybe a "flat" screen tv, don't buy it cuase the card is avaible, down the road u get bored with it the "crazed" is now a "fazed" and now what u got stuck with a credit debt to be paid.Use wise when short on cash or let's say you got a utility bill u pay half in cash the rest on credit, that way u will easily able to track your credit spending, also always keep a note pad on hand to jog down what u have spend on the card. Bottom line when you have low payment ratio and good spending habits you'll be able to stay out thr red and focus on paying of those high interest rates, which is where the main squeeze is. |

They're great. You can earn bonus points by using your card. You don't have a collection of pennies and nickels. You can use the lenders money for free. It's just the saps with no discipline that pay. Tough for them. |

Love to hate them. As long as you have the money to pay for what you spend on them you are ok...I mean to make the payments at least. If not you know the problem that comes. You know I read and learned all types of stuff on mycreditadvise.com and it helped me and my wife with our financial planning. |

A threat to the undisciplined user. An excellent way of doing business but there should be a better means of protecting the card holder. No card should be able to be used without use of a PIN number and maybe a biometric read of the user. Companies that pressure consumers into using credit cards and make credit so easy should share the responsibility for those who lack the discipline to properly manage a credit card account. I would almost equate their tactics to entrapment! |

Use them responsibly and they are a great asset as you don't ahve to carry much cash with you, just make sure that you pay them off completely at the end of each month, and choose one that gives money back, then you are the only winner. If you don't pay off every month, then they are expensive to have. |

32 years old and never had one...I see that now you can buy a visa like card at stores like dollar general and probably wal mart and you have to put money on them at the register and that way you don't have to worry about a monthly payment but still can get things that require a visa card like on EBay or commercials..I would give them a try first |

I don't want one of my own. I know I would dig myself into a hole I could never get myself out of. Best to stay above the level I think. I do have a card that is an additional to my mother's account for absolute emergencies because she is a good lady but I rarely use it. Still, that safety net does give me peace of mind. |

I have 3 credit cards. One is for repair emergencies, and the other 2 are for dept. stores that I only use when it gets me an extra discount. Since I pay them off every month, they do save money. |
