Just about any card can have a limit that high. The question is your credit good enough to qualify. When you apply for any card, the company assesses your risk, and then assigns a credit limit/interest rate based on that. |

No way to know. There are people with good income history, no bankruptcies, excellent credit that can get $50k limits. There are people who are on the other end of the financial spectrum that can't get $1,000 limits. |

The credit card companies decide your credit limit by your income and your debt to income ratio, and your credit report, and how much credit that you have had. I'm not talking about previous credit limits on cards. |

Even if you have perfect credit history you won't get a credit line of ten thousand dollars. If five hundred dollars is the only line of credit you have a new bank won't grant you a limit that high. You possibly could get a credit limit of around two thousand dollars. Try the Chase Platinum Visa Card.
