There are lots of things to do. You could go rock climbing, buy $100 worth of lottery tickets, give it to a random person on the street, use it to pay a bill or some one your indebted to. Though I don't think any of those things would help anything except the passage of time & disappearance of your $. Try finding a job so that you can earn more $$ because $100 goes by WAY too fast nowadays. Don't you wish you could just use the $100 to BUY a job? That'd be sweet, maybe I'll start a company that does that...wait a minute I think that's already been done. Oh well, I say go out & have a LITTLE fun & spend the bulk of your $100 in a wise manor &/or just save it. Good luck. |

When I was out of work, I asked around for odd jobs that people wanted done.
I painted a ceiling, put up some wall paper to replace some that had been there for 20 years, and trimmed some trees.
If you are willing to work for a reasonable rate, there are people who need things done. Only during the depression was this nearly impossible, and even then many people worked on farms - because people always need food.
Use your imagination and your mouth. You may have to do one or two things just to get peoples attention.
Be reliable, tell them what you can do. They didn't mind that there was a half inch at the top of the wallpaper , they were just glad it was changed. You can always run a border over it if necessary.
Isn't it fantastic that you still have $100. Even people who work full time don't have that much. |
