What does it means when your husband lend his credit card to his female senior engineer?
He lent his credit card to his senior engineer to forge his signature without his presence so as to sign his card to get discount just to help her save a little on petrol cost. That lady accepted and did it. She is married too. Its the 1st time that he did such a thing as he had never lend anyone his card to sign not even to his family members or wife. Are they having a fling?

I would at least talk to your husband about this situation and see if his explanation is plausible. It sounds to me that he either told you he lent the card to her, or in some fashion you found out about from another source. Is he having a fling? If he lent her the card and told you about it, likely not. At best I would ask him for an explanation. Signing another individuals credit card even if they have your permission is against the law.

Ask him why he lent it to her. Just to saver her money, or is he sucking up to his boss? He won't admit that he is having a fling with her, unless he is stupid. If he keeps doing it and spends lots of time out of work with her for "business meetings" then you may want to get a private investigator and check it out.

It means you have too much free time on your hands and need to occupy your life with real problems, not dream up a fantasy of an affair over a cost savings measure, probably done as an innocent favor.

It means he is probably letting her use his slide rule as well, so to speak.

So, that means that if I swipe my savings card through the scanner at the grocery store to save them 3% on their purchase, I should automatically be expecting some intimate attention?
That seems rather extreme.. I would call it a favor unless there was a LOT more to base a judgement on. Insecurity is a horrible habit to let fester inside you.. I would just ask for an explaination. If I found myself seeing a pattern of behavior, I would be concerned.

No. It's called brown nosing. Most employees do it and it helps them have a better relationship with their bosses.

Do not be worried unless this develops into a pattern.

It sounds like he is doing it for business purposes.
However, I would be concerned for other reasons--Since you are his wife, you are legally responsible for his debt as well as yours----I wouldn't want his credit cards being used by others.
And I would definitely have a talk with your husband about him not allowing you, his wife, to have access to his credit cards. Does he think you're going to charge it up? My husband and I have joint credit cards and we both have access to it even if we don't use it. Remind him that his debt is your debt and he wouldn't like it if you opened a credit card and didn't have rights or access to it as well, even if you never use it.. Of course, if you are a spender and can't control your credit card charges, then not of the above applies!

Sounds like he's just trying to help her save. She's probably done the same thing. Watch it and relax unless it turns into something bigger. But, I would be a little upset that he lent it to her and not to his wife.

It means your marriage needs a little work. If there is this kind of mistrust you need to go to counseling.
