It will go to the collectors and believe me, it won't be pretty. They can take your house, your car, your furniture, anything that has a price value. It will go on your permanent record and in the future, it'll be hard for you to get a loan....better find a job and pay NOW!!! |

They will get a court order to make you pay it and then they will tag onto your paycheck and then you will be short that amount until it is paid back. Pay them and don't use cash advance again. |

If you did it electronically, its likely they'll try to run the payment every 2 weeks until they get it. if not, it will go to collections. they can' ttake your house, car, etc-- they can only damage your creidt score and add more fees to what you owe. That's as far as it can go. |

They will turn it into collections and you could be sheriff saled. They'll sell everything you own except your clothes and any equipment you use to make a living. Like someone alreay said it isn't pretty. |

If they have deposited your check, and it was returned nsf, the state attorneys office is hesitant to prosecute as a bad check because the cash advance place knew the check would not clear at the point in time they took it. What the cash advance place can do is send it to a collection agency, which will increase the amount owed and subject you to endless harassment. It's in your best interest to pay it and be done with the company. |

In Wisconsin, the banks have a non-withdrawal law that prevents cash advance places from just going into your account to retrieve the money. If you wrote a check for the advance, they will cash it. If they do not hear from you in three days, your check will bounce...and you will be libel for the fees. If they can't get money from the bank, they will turn it over to a collection agency, and you will get bad credit. |

If it was a cash advance against your next paycheck they will probably just wait until you get paid again and take it out of your next check. |

They deposit the check you wrote them and collect it from your account. If that doesn't work, they will go to a collection agency to find you. Read the contract you signed. |

I cashed a payroll check at AMSCOT, which bounced. They sent me a letter saying that under Florida law I am obligated to pay the amount of the check plus $30 returned check charge. I cashed the check in good faith, why can't they go after my employer? |
