Well firstly you need to contact your credit card company to see if you can come to some sort of an agreement as to making payments. Most banks will prefer you to pay something rather than nothing at all.
They may ask you to fill out an assessment regarding your incomings and outgoings so they can see how much you can afford to pay and decide from there.
You could also talk to citizens advice who can help if you have debts, or they can put you in touch with people who know about these things.
The worst thing you can do is to borrow more money to try and cover it or to bury your head in the sand and ignore it, it will only get worse.
I think in the current economic climate you won't be the only person having these issues and as I say, the bank will appreciate you making a gesture of payment, whatever that may be. Good luck |

They arrange an IVA where you work out what you can pay - even if its at 0% apr over a longer period.
If you fail that they they will apply for you to be declared bankrupt and sell all your stuff to pay them back. |

Hi there!
If you cant pay back your cards/ bills , the first thing to do is contact your creditors. Let them know what the problem is. The creditor may be willing to work with you and make special arrangements to lower or cancel your payments for a period of time. The worst that can happen is that they will continue demanding payment. If you simply ignore your creditors and don't explain why you can’t make your payments, they will probably think that you just don’t want to pay your bills.
I hope it help yah..

I don't have a credit card, and that's the reason why.
I got in the sh*t with Capital one and they don't stop adding interest until you've paid it all off. |

They will apply for you to be declared bankrupt? Hmmmm...That's a new one. I know that they can get a judgment, but 'applying for you to declare bankrupt'?
Anyway, if you have more than like $5k-$7500k in credit card debt, you can go into what is called 'debt management' and pay your debts off with LOWER payments and LESS money over all, and in FAR less time. Take a second and get yourself a free, personalized online debt management assessment here
