My credit card payment is due on 24th March however I don't get paid until the 28th. I will pay it off in full when I do get paid but until then I can't pay a penny.

bad mcredit is not paying your bills and not paying them on time,its not the health care that gives you bad credit its the individual thats not paying for what he recieved from the hosp. or anything for that matter , its like stealing , and not having any credit is almost as bad, your not giving yourself any commitment in life and your walking away from respondsibilities,go to a bank and start a personal loan of 200, dollars pay it back beforethe due date and you have established some credit, it's so easy, and never go back on your word, to any person. |

any debt that doesn't get paid can get reported to a collection agency, this will show up when someone runs a credit check on you, the best way to solve the problem with hospital bills, is just to pay as much as you can, at least once a month, some of them will let you get by with at least 5 dollars, as long as you pay something. |

Medical bills appear as collections on your credit report if there are not paid. They are probably the most common collection next to bankruptcy. If your friend continues to establish credit with bank cards, installment account like a car or student loan, they can help offset the medical debt in the LONG run. I suggest that if in the future the friend decides to clean up the credit, that the medical account be the last settled and do not contact the agent unless they have the money to spend. Otherwise, the accounts become reactivated just as the had just happened and can really hurt your scores. |

When you have bills (you owe people/companies money) you have to pay them back....if not your credit score will go down. That could come back to haunt you when trying to buy a new car or a new house. |

It is the unpaid portion of the hospital bill that does not get paid monthly or in full and will reflect on their credit bureau by the hospital. The credit bureaus are what companies use to report and make loan decision about homes, cars, credit cards, etc. |

Bad credit results from ANY unpaid or late bill that is reported to credit agencies. It stays there for seven years, making it much harder to get loans, crdit cards or mortgages; and they are more expensive with bad credit histories becuse the borrower is higher risk. |
