It's hard to say what the "best" credit card is without knowing your credit history-- and your personal needs / interests. There's a huge selection of credit card offers for every type of need under the sun. You could start out by comparing offers here:
http://www.asapcreditcard.com
One great option is the Discover More Card. It offers a 0% APR for 12 months (on purchases and balance transfers) with a low ongoing rate of 10.99%. Plus, you can earn up to 5% cash back. If you'd prefer a Visa or Mastercard, consider the Rewards Advantage Visa from First National-- or the Chase Platinum Card.
Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK! |

I recommend Chase. They have no annual fee and low apr. With their freedom cash visa you can earn up to 3% cash back on purchases. |

The best credit card is the one that will pay you the most for your normal spending profile. You can quickly determine which rewards card will pay you the most for your spending with this rewards calculator:
http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/
Note that American Express generally has the highest reputation for service. Chase and Citi are good as well. Discover is good, but has subpar rewards (see the calculator above). Capital One has a worse reputation than the others. |

well, i think it really depends on which part of the world you are at and what you need.
let's say in Singapore, UOB would be good for ladies as there's alot discounts with the card. =) |

The new Discover Miles Card is a best option.
The new Discover Miles Card, allows you to redeem your reward points or reward miles for any travel purchase. This is a perfectly No Hassles Miles program.
Earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend. This offer has an upper spending limit of $3,000 in restaurant and travel purchases. The limit of miles in your account has been reduced from 25,000 to 20000.
The points can also be redeemed for gift certificates. Discover has tied up with 50 merchants, this gives a lot of choice. The gifts can be redeemed in the following ways, 1,000 miles for $5 gift card, 3,500 miles for $25, 6,000 miles for $50 etc.
The Discover Miles Card allows you to use a travel agent of your choice for your travel related bookings.
