Having no credit will not affect you getting a card. It will affect the kind of card you can get.
check out www.creditcard.com They keep track of credit cards from all companies and give you the information you need to know about what card you will most likely get. |

you probably won't be able to get that, as you have no credit.
go here and compare them anyway http://www.bestcreditrates.net/ |

credit cards are like the bank, they add lots of fees and in the end you will probably be more in debt. |

without good credit you probably won't get a no interest card. and the cards usually come within a week to 4 weeks of applying. using a credit card to pay off a debt is not paying it off. you only transfer the debt to another company. |

Most 'standard' credit cards offer some type of 0% APR so you won't pay interest for a specified period of time (normally between 6-12 months). But these credit cards are designed for people with good to excellent credit.
Since you don't have any credit, you definitely won't get approved for one of these offers. But there are many other options available to help you build and improve your credit score here:
http://www.asapcreditcard.com/unsecured-offers.html
You won't find a 0% APR with these offers. But they'll be a great way for you to build up your credit score-, so that eventually, with regular on-time payments-- you'll be able to apply for 'standard' credit cards with low APR's and less fees.
Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK! |

American Blue Express: Apart from no annual fee feature of the American Blue Express it also gives cash returns on specific purchases. Users of the American Blue Express also enjoy protection against fraud for online credit card transactions. This card tries to right the various wrong notions about the American Express credit cards, one of which is that it is a credit card only for rich or those who have money to keep a credit card.

a lot of the credit card companies run 6 months at 0% depends onyour credit rating, as for the apr of 14.9% it depends on who the creditor is.... it does sound a bit on the high side, you should be able to get below 9.9%
try Chase, Capitol One, Discover |

"I only use a credit card occasionally and normally pay it off each month" If you are a light credit card user and tend to pay it off in full each month then the most important factors to consider will be the cards annual fee and the number of interest free days on purchases. Many credit card issuers have cards with no annual fees. They tend to offer less in the way of rewards schemes but as a light user you are unlikely to benefit from such schemes. Look for cards with a low or no annual fee offering instant rewards and discounts. These are partner offers that can be used at any time without accumulating points. Apply online for a no annual fees credit card at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/No_Annual_Fees.html |
