It depends on what kind of benefits you are looking for. There are credit cards that offer low interest, cash back, airline miles, pionts, ect... If you have good credit, the credit card to own is probably the Blue from American Express. It offers 0% interest for 15 months. Their free rewards program is one of the best available. American Express also has the highest rating in customer satisfaction. |

It truly does depend on what YOU want in a credit card. Personally, I like my American Express card best. Discover is a close second. Then Bank of America.
But I am not sure that my reasons would be of any assistance to you.
If you know what you want in a credit card (and you should :) ) try going to the following search page where you can enter the terms you want in a credit card and only get back offers that match what you entered.
http://www.fastcreditcardoffer.com/credit-card-search.aspx
You can even narrow your search to a specific credit card issuer.
Quick and painless. Good luck. |

I found the best deal at Chase Bank. American Express blue offers a 0% for 15 mos., but then the rate goes to 9.99%, Capitol One just raised all their rates, (mine was 10.25% -preferred rate), so I rejected their new offering and closed the account. Chase gave me 0% for 15 mos., no balance transfer fee with application, no annual fee and then 5.99% fixed! How could I go wrong? Go to Chasebank.comcreditcards. |

Recent years have seen a real increase in the type of credit cards available. So much so, that now you really have to look and see what is available, and it can actually be a little hard to choose between them.
Here is a little guide to help you know what your options are and what to look for to help you get a good credit card.

American Express is generally considered to have great service (see recent Consumer Reports issue). Chase and Citi are also good. Capital One is usually rated lower than these others.
Assuming you'll be paying off your balance in full every month and are in it for the rewards, you can use this rewards calculator to find the credit card that will pay you the most for your normal spending:

Note that that rewards calculator converts all earnings currencies (frequent flyer miles, points, cash back) to dollars for easy apples-to-apples comparison. |

American Blue Express Credit Card: Apart from no annual fee feature of the American Blue Express it also gives cash returns on specific purchases. Users of the American Blue Express also enjoy protection against fraud for online credit card transactions. This card tries to right the various wrong notions about the American Express credit cards, one of which is that it is a credit card only for rich or those who have money to keep a credit card.
