I love my Chase cards, and Providian makes a card (although some of them have a higher interest rate because they are targeted for people with less than perfect credit) that shows you your credit score every month so you can keep track of your credit. It is a wonderful tool and a great card.

Depends what you want from the card.
If you pay your bill in full every month then the interest rate doesn't matter, go for a card with cash back rewards like Morgan Stanley or Tesco.
Otherwise shop around for ones with low rates on www.moneysupermarket.co.uk

The best credit card is the Nationwide. No cash conversion fee abroad....when all the tourists are getting 1.42 euros plus a 2.25 percent or whatever fee. I get 1.49 -1.51 euros and no fee. Nationwide Building Society. been with em 28 years. brilliant. Sod Banks, I used to work for them they are crooks.
