With no credit you will probably get one of those cards with a really high interest rate, like 18-24% or some store credit card. In my opinion, the best thing to do is not get a credit card at all if you dont have to, as they almost always lead to trouble.

No credit = no rewards with annual payments and high interest rates. You need to look up the word credit, it is something you earn not given . Get you a card with $69 - $100 annual fee at $6 -$10 a month 19-23.9% interest rates and you may are may not have other fees like application fees $69-$100 one time only though. So like my father told me growing up you have to pay for it if you want it . You have to crawl then walk. Build your good credit up in 2 years time you will get thoes cards you want then you will be the sh___.

Prepaid or debit cards:

These are the easiest option available for bad credit people. There are no verifications, no credit checks, no employment requirements, and the approval is instant. All they have to do is to deposit a money and a prepaid card is issued. This card has the borrowing or buying capacity equivalent to the funds deposited. The good thing with prepaid credit card is that it promotes financial discipline. Some prepaid card issuers report to various credit rating agencies, thus it helps in rebuilding your credit history. Apply online at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/PrePaid_Card.html and get instant approval

If you're a college student, get a student rewards card (e.g. Citi mtvU card or Citi Driver's Edge for Students).

Otherwise, you could try for a low/no credit card from Capital One.

Failing that, you could try for a secured credit card from Orchard Bank.

You can use this rewards calculator to see which rewards card will pay you the most for your normal spending:

If you have no credit, chances are you are not going to get approved for a credit card with rewards. You need to stick with a basic credit card to establish credit first. The good credit card for people who has no credit is Capital One. They have credit cards designed for those who never had a credit card before. Look for the "limited credit ok" ones.

Get an affiliate card from a professional organization... they usually offer better benefits, and higher limits - they also qualify you based on your affiliation as much as your credit rating...
