all of above suggestions are great. It doesn't matter which card you get as long as you meet the requirements and you take care of your balances well. Discipline is more important in managing money than which card you get. It might be useful to read some of useful articles on the site below and they also have a great resource of consolidated credit cards for you to chose from. Good luck! |

I am not sure there is an easiet, one person may say one is easier to get than another one, and that might not be true. Some may seem easier to acquire than others. You can try Capital One, Discover, Gas Card, or a Department store card, just to start you off. Pay on time, Pay the minimum or more each month, Don't go over the limit, and don't use more than 20-30% of your credit limit. Just be a good steward of money and credit. Use credit wisely. |

You can start by getting a gas credit card. Those are usually easier to get. |

There is one I think. It's called the much prepaid mastercard. I think you pay them before you can buy anything. You should type
"prepaid mastercard" in a search engine. It should show up.
Hope this helps. |

Orchard Bank Mastercard. Credit One Visa. Premier Visa. Pretty easy to get, but you must make your payments on time because the late fee will really get you if you dont. Interest rate is not to bad, especially if youve got bad credit. |

Capital One seems to be the most aggressive to get new card holders. My 18 yr old daughter just got one. |

You're going to pay a higher interest rate no matter what card you get. |

If you were a poor swimmer, would you jump into a 30 ft deep pool?
If you have "poor credit" stay out of the "pool".
Not having a pocketful of credit cards doesn't make you a bad person. |

My brother is 18 and his first card was from target. I heard that they are one of the easiest to get! Good luck! |

You can get a guranteed approval card, you'll get approved no matter what. My friend got a American Express Blue card and he doesn't have the best credit. One reccommendation for sure is to use applyfastbankcards they pay you for any car you apply for. I got $55 for the Discover More Card. You might try applying for that card, its not that hard to get approved. Good luck:) |
