The US Government has mandated that the three major credit bureaus offer the service to everyone in the United States once each year. The name of this site is www.annualcreditreport.com.
Since it is government mandated it requires a whole host of hoops to jump through. You do not actually get your credit scores, and it can take 7-10 days to receive the information. All in all not very consumer friendly. Guess that is what happens when a big company is required to do something they do not want to do.
Here is how I got my Credit Report and Score from all 3 bureaus for free.
I went to http://faqfaq.net/FreeCreditReport.html and signed up for their service.
It took like 3 minutes! They give you 7 Days for Free to try the service.
So I just canceled the next day after printing out everything I needed.
Easy and Free.

To get your score you have to pay for it...just go to one of the credit bureaus websites and they all have links...it usually costs between $5 & $10 to purchase.
You can get your credit report free once per year from https://www.annualcreditreport.com and that will give you links where you can purchase your score too.
There is no where yet where you can get your score for free.

The above is correct. Remember the 5-10.00 can range per agency. You can also go to a car finance company and they can pull it for you as well.
