What to do with check?
I have got a check it looks real for 2,940.00 dollars it is from Latex Finance Inc they say i have won 50,000 and the check is for help in paying some of the fees, from what i have found out this is a scam but i was wondering is there anyway i could cash the check and have it come back on them.even if i go to the bank and turn around and give them the money back. i would rather keep it though lol

Great name-Latex Finance! This is a total scam as I'm sure you already know. Someone else posted about a similar scam awhile back where they send you a check to cover fees so that you can access your millions that you won...lol!

I would not cash the check because as with this other scam, the account on the check was a stolen account number and the account was actually closed and the FBI was iinvestigating it. So, if you do cash the check and take the money (if the bank will cash it for you) you will be responsible for the money when it returns to your account as unpaid! Then you would be scammed out of $2,940 and it probably would not fall back on them as you had hoped for. Just rip it up and forget it no matter how tempting it is to cash it..lol! :)

NO, there is no way of depositing the check and keeping the money. There is some catch here - a means of accessing your account, or some other obligation that you have not spotted or taken the time to check into.

lol just throw it in the bin. they want your bank details.

Pretty clever name. Ha ha.
Slang for a no good check is a "rubber check" because it will "bounce" when an attempt is made to cash it. Hence the name, Latex Finance, Inc.
Much better than Major Scam, Inc.

If your sure that it is a scam don't even bother. Be careful it may back fire on you. Better safe than sorry.

Send it to the FBI or Treasury Dept., for their fraud investigation units.
