Have your friend's father write a letter for you authorizing you to use the card. Include a telephone number that can be verified and where he can be reached.
Better yet, why not tell him what flight to book and have him book it online with the card. That way there won't be any questions. |

It's possible that they will ask to see ID. Is the back of the credit card signed? Practically everywhere asked me for ID until I finally signed the back of mine. |

Some places don't even ask for I.D unless the amount of purchase is real high..
If they do ask for I.D, they'll probably keep the card and tell you they can't accept it. |
