I always used Visa. Never had the chance with Mastercard. I think Visa is more utilized worldwide. |

neither. Credit Cards are bad, evil things if you can't keep control of them. If you don't have the money to buy something then don't get it, save up rather than getting it on credit. Banks are just looking for ways to get people into deeper debt so they can get more interest out of them. |

it doesnt really matter, just look for the one with lower interest. |

which ever has the lowest intrest rate. and doesnt have any annual fees. They are both accepted pretty much everywhere. and you just need to find the one that gives you the best rates. |

Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, its more about the banking institution that provides the card rather than the specific creditor. Banks choose how much of a rewards program they will offer as well as the APR on the balance, Visa and Mastercard just back the charges made on the card until the banking institution can pay them back, then, you owe the bank. |

I used to do a lot of travelling abroad and having both were handy when my company Amex card wasn't accepted. In the UK these days go for the one with the lowest APR. |

The most important thing to note is that neither Visa nor MasterCard really issue credit cards. These companies do not handle consumers or merchants directly. Rather they develop and operate the universal computer networks to process the innumerable transactions that take place every day at various merchants and ATMs. They earn money from financial institutions to whom they have licensed the authority of marketing the MasterCard or Visa system to end consumers and merchants.
MasterCard and Visa have been strong rivals from a long time, each competing to be faster and more universal than the other. Every benefit offered on the credit card of one brand, is soon offered by the other. Today both companies provide mostly similar benefits like travel insurance, car rental insurance, product warranty extensions etc. |

There's no difference. Whether you apply by phone or online, Matercard and Visa are equally accepted all around the world. |

To the average person there is no difference. Both are accpeted almost anywhere. Perphaps visa is accepted at a few more places. So If i had to pick I would say them. |
