The site below does a good research and provides us with the best credit card information. There are many good ones you can get depending on what you are looking for such as cash back, rewards, points, no annual fee, 0% APR, etc. Go and see which one you would like. |

If you're making payments in full every month, American Express has by far the best customer service. Check out their Blue card.
If you're making payments from month-to-month and carrying a balance, try checking the interest rates for credit cards at: http://www.bankrate.com/. Amex's rates are competitive, but you can sometimes find credit cards with lower, fixed rates (Amex's are all variable APR's).
Also, try looking at the credit cards the bank you bank with offers. It's best to get a card with them when you can. They have an interest in keeping your money on both ends. |

Well, first off, the best way to *use* a credit card (and then I'll get to the best credit card to use):
1. Find the rewards card that will pay you the most for your normal expenses
2. Funnel most/all of your spending through your credit card(s) without max'ing them out
3. Always pay your monthly balance in full
That way you will:
1. Build your credit quickly
2. Avoid interest and fees
3. Earn great rewards for your normal spending
You can use this rewards calculator to see which rewards credit card will pay you the most for your normal spending:

All of this assumes you're not going to carry a balance on your credit card (which, in general, you shouldn't because the interest rates are usually quite bad). If you're going to carry a balance, then you should consider a Simmons Bank card (also on that site I mentioned) because their rates are some of the best available anywhere. |

Use Discover More because it has high Cashback Bonus. However, you may want to carry a Visa or Mastercard as well, since Discover isn't accepted everywhere. I would recommend anything from Citibank and avoid anything from Chase, especially if you occasionally travel overseas. |

I hate to tell you, but none of them! Truthfully they are all rip-offs!! They charge you extra money when you go to pay for your stuff that you purchased!!!! The best thing to use if you have money in your account is a debit card because as soon as you ring it up they take the money right out of your account!!!
Good Luck!! :) |

It depends what you are looking for and what kind of credit history you have. If you have good credit, then you will have many more options to choose from. Since it sounds like you haven't had a credit card before, you may or may not have much of a credit history at all (depending on loans or mortgages you may have, etc.). If you have no credit history it will be difficult to find a "great" card.
Overall, try to look for a card that offers 0% interest on purchases (this will only last 6-12 months because it is an introductory offer). Then, look at the overall interest rate the card will charge after the introductory period. Also, be sure to check for any annual fees. If you have bad credit or no credit, you may not be able to avoid annual fees, but otherwise, you shouldn't see any.
Aside from that, there are several cards that offer "extras" like cashback rewards, airline miles, fee gas, travel perks, etc. So pick a card that has "extras" that you will use.
I would recommend the American Express Blue Card or the Discover More Card. Both are excellent. There is also a link below where you can search all types of credit cards based on interest rate, extra perks, etc. |

Someone elses... just kidding
One with a low interest rate and a low limit.
It will keep you from overspending and you will have less to pay back. |

I would say Capital One. It seems to be the one that is the most personalized and geared to each individual. |
