Whats the best way to get approved for a credit card if you don't have a job and a bad credit rating?
is there a web sight i can go to for the un-employed and bad credit ratings that they will approve me for a credit card?

First get a job and build some credit...then there are credit cards within Mastercard and Visa that are given to those with less that perfect credit.

kris
maybe you dont need a credit card just yet

traffic816

hey if you don't have a job how are you going to pay your credit card bills??? just leave it alone and the ones of us who do pay our bills will not have to pay yous for you.

i'm not sure about no job. but try orchard bank. they are good for people with bad credit.

A secured credit card is the best way to improve your credit history.

If you don't have an income, you won't be approved for credit. If your score was 850 (the FICO maximum) but you have no income, you will be denied for lack of ability to pay.

Please don't get one!! I got a credit card when I was 19 and I'm now 22. I had a $700 max on it and a 16.9% APR, you don't want something like that. I didn't have a bad credit rating when I got it but it wasn't that good either. I'm still trying to pay it off because I didn't have a job at the time and just bought everything with it. I'm now at $900 which is really bad because I only have a $700 max. Please think a little harder before you get one, you don't want to have even worse credit because you can't pay if off because you don't have a job.

Go down to your nearest Sears store and ask at any register about getting a Sears Visa. You will know in about 5 minutes and when I signed up a year ago, they only asked me for my soc - nothing else. Amazing. If you get the card, and chances are good that you will get one unless something has gone terribly terribly terribly wrong with your credit... you will have a really high interest rate - over %20. Pay it off IN FULL every single month. So many companies make money off people with bad credit because they accumulate so much interest - don't be one of them. Then in the time of when year when you have dilegently paid in full each month and on time, you will have more credit card offers from other companies with lower interest rates than you will know what to do with.

Who would want to lend money to someone who has not got a job,and has a proven history of not paying their debts?

go to college! you'll start getting pre-approved offers.
but remember, the borrower is servant to the lender,
therefore pay off your balance every month so as not
to accrue interest charges. if you can't do this, then
you are spending beyond your means.

You can try getting a "Secured" credit card. One where you deposit money into it and can use it as a credit card. It has a Visa or Mastercard emblem on it. You can try going to www.babyphat.com or www.phatfarm.com. They offer a credit card that you can do direct deposit to and works anywhere that accepts major credit cards. Hope this is helpful!!!

No their isnt it can be really hard to get a credit card but in an application you can pu down a business name where you use to work they dont verify it. Another altenative is to get a prepaid visa or master card if you dont want to carry cash.

If you don't have a job how do you plan to pay for the interests?

Get a job and improve your credit rating first. Otherwise you are heading down the road to life-long debt, and you're not going to like it.
