worked as gsm at a car dealer in fl. i am also on probation till my sentecing wich is going to be a dropped felony.it had to due with a bad addiction wich i am getting thru .i also diclosed this to the owner before i started.this was not the reason i was fired.
i have been in the auto bussiness over 20years and i recentley was shocked at all the fraud that was going on at the dealer i worked for.when i confronted the owner about 10 deals that i knew fraud was involved,i said "this company can not be doing this not onjly is boosting peoples income wrong but also making paysubs is realy crossing the line,i stated that me as a manager on pre sentence probation cannot be involved in any fraud going on around me and not only for that reason but also common sense! well he said we can solve that problem and basicly said he does not want me any more ...i have documents that prove there is alot of monkey bussiness going on ....i know you dont need a reason to fire someone.help |

I also am in the auto finance business and have been through this exact same thing several years ago.
You have two choices, you can simply move on and go to work for another dealer which is what I did or you can go to the used car commission, newspapers, television stations, the lenders involved and the labor commission and file complaints, you can also contact your States attorney general since your termination was illegal.
The problem as you well know after being in the car business for 20 years is if you go the legal route you will forever be seen as a rat and unless you get a very large settlement out of the dealer you will face a hard time making a living in the car business for the rest of your life.
I was very lucky and found a dealer that is family owned and the senior partner is a State senator so I no longer have to worry about this type of thing since honesty is more important to them then profit.

I think you should talk to an attorney about this.
It sounds like you may have a case, but it's probably going to hinge on how good that documentation is, that you're talking about.
If you can get statements from other past or present employees, that would help. |

you need to hire an attorney about this particular situation. you need full documents that prove your side of the story. you need to be able to show that your boss was wrong in some way and that they were cheating people. if you are able to show this you most likely will win your case and be compensated. best of luck to you |

You definitely need to talk to a lawyer. If I am reading your issue correctly, it sounds like you were fired out of retaliation, which is illegal. Your lawsuit should be about a wrongful termination based on Retaliatory Termination. Sue for legal fees, for your employee file to say that you are rehireable, and a little more money to cover any costs that have incurred from your bills because of your inability to pay them for being out of work.

Here's the thing, this is so bugging you. I know this as I answered on the last question. My reply would remain the same as before. I think the issue here is you.
This is taking you down, you are giving this person the power to make you feel low. He on the other hand isn't even thinking about you, you are not affecting his life or how he feels. The negative energy is affecting you alone. For you to move forward you have to put this down to another of life's blows. He has done you a big favour, you are removed from a situation that, if it had come on top could have seen you serving a prison sentence. That is a positive, he will get his, because eventually it always comes out. Put this away and move forward, find a better job and carry on with all the hard work that you have been putting into your life.
