When I apply for credit cards, do I use my old address or my current one?
I didn't know which one to use or will they send it to my old address Additional Details I don't want them sending it to my old address because my ex lives there
They'll ask you for your previous addresses as well -
in case you're running away from debts......(and they'll check!)
Halley
Use your current one.
chobalobba
you have to use your new address, but they will ask for your old address to check on your credit history.
tmx1709
you current one
tweety
Definitely use your new address.
The application will probably ask for a previous address if you've lived at your current address for less than a specified length of time (usually 2 years, but not always)
Serious answers please!
off course your new address as you are going to live there..arrange with your post office and make sure they will forward your all mail to new address..if they can't ask them to hold and you go there to pick yourself..

I think the best one for you to do is use your CURRENT address. many cases like my friend's case, she placed her old address and all billings were sent to her old address which ofcourse she wasn't able to pay. She was put to jail because of that -only my opinion-
Thanks.. :)

Then why in the world would you give them your old??? Are you a 315er by any chance??
josie j
You have to use your current address because it will go to the old address if that is the one you used on the application.
cloius
You must use your current address.
