It means the payment will be taken out of your designated bank account each month by the card company. This means you don't need to remember to pay your bill and will not pay any interest on the balance as the card company take the payment in good time. But it also means you need to have enough money in the bank to cover it. You can opt to have the whole payment taken or just the minimum amount that is due. With the minimum payment your account is always in "good order" but, I believe, you have to pay off the rest separately by the due date to avoid paying interest on the remaining balance. |
