Direct Deposits of the stimulus package all went out last week. If you received your refund in any electronic manner, IE your bank account or a pre-paid debit card, you should have the money deposited in your account by May 16th at the latest.
If you received your refund in the mail, checks will begin being mailed out May 16 and continuing through July.
Both ways of receiving your stimulus packaged are staggered based on the last two digits of your social security number. |

I already got my check but I got a letter from IRS stating if the check is not received within 6 weeks of the expected date, call 1-866-234-2942 with you last 4 numb ers of your social security # |

I've heard that they will mail them out in spurts, with the first group getting theirs in late May. I also heard that it's possible not everyone will get the stimulus check--that it works sort of like a lottery. I agree--the whole thing is very confusing! |

I am beginning to think it has nothing to do with the 2 digits of your ss#. My mother in laws best friend got hers Tuesday in the MAIL... her last 2 digits are 08. My husband is waiting on a check inthe Mail-- his last 2 digits are 00 and nothing yet. The irs hotline says it will be mailed on May 16. So why is a 08 getting one before 00????? |

They will start mailing them out on May 9th. The irs.gov website is the only one that is accurate. |

I thought they already started. They began with the people who filed their taxes first and then going from there. |
