Probably because you have had one in the past and not paid it back fully?? If not it may be bacause your reasons given do not fit the criteria? Crisis loans are meant to be for that purpose - i.e. buying a cooker if you do not have one. It is for things that are real emergancies not just i haven't got any money.
If its none of the above then maybe you ought to give them a ring and ask why. |

you only qualify if you are in a CRISIS, the main reason is if you have lost your money and you have no food or heating, try that and you will be guaranteed. |

zoe m hit the nail on the head. you can only get a crisis loan if you are in a crisis. crisis loans are a last resort for people with no income, food, gas or electric. crisis loans can only be made for certain items and only if you have no other funds available. also you can only have so much debt and so many applications. there could be many reasons why you have been turned down no-one other than the person making the decision can tell you why they are saying no. they should always give you a reason and if you are turned down in the future and no reason is given then ask. |

Yeah my friend the Goverment suck, if your not gagging on your next bag of shite or drink they wont help you, however if your a bum n sit in the boozer all day in n out the bookies etc they will give you this, if you truly need this appeal n appeal n visit that jobcentre everyday till they give you some help..
