When purchase goods on your credit card, do you clear it off every single month?
... Or pay it off slowly?
Additional Details
I too pay mine off every single month :)

I pay it off every month otherwise I worry it's the start of a long and slippery slope for me. So personally, yes, I don't want to pay any interest.

I use 3 for just about everything I buy and pay them all off in full before the due date.

Have done this for the last 2-years and not only raised my score over 150-points but earned over $1,000.00 in cash back rewards. Not bad for using someone elses money for free.

I pay it off when I get the bill. I very rarely use credit cards, but about a year ago, I found out that if you don't use them, they can get canceled. I had two of mine cancelled because I hadn't used either of them in 18 months. So now I try to use them for a small purchase every now and then, just to keep accounts active.

Every month - my card gives me cashback annually for doing so!

pay it off and you dont pay interest

if you are not going to pay it off, you pay a huge amount of interest, and it may be better to get a loan (if that's possible, these days :-)

WelshLad
All off, I have had it years and not once paid interest on it. I ain't making them money :-)

Every month. Credit cards are a horribly expensive way to do long term credit.

Exception: I big bill that I can;t put off, like my car needs repairs and I need my car to get to work. Then I pay as much as possible and pay the rest down as soon as possible.

I pay mine off every month. No charge for interest at around 17% on the outstanding balance. Also I know that I am living within my means. You to should consider this aspect. If you cannot really afford to do this then I suggest that you turn in the credit card as you appear to be considering the slippery slope of debt.

pay every month.
i use cc for my purchases and then send them a check.
my hubby thinks we have alot of bills.
however, i don't use my debit card cuz someone stole my identity.
so, i'm just a month behind.

Pay it off every month. I don't wish to give anyone even a penny in interest ever.

Yes I do. Why pay extra in interest. Equivalent of flushing dollars down the drain

Eddy T
Pay it off slowly. You need to pay interest on the outstanding balance.
