When some pulls your credit report, can they see the names of other companies that have viewed your credit?
Or can they only view number of inquires? Additional Details Is there anyone that knows for sure? Some of you are saying yes, and others no.
They can see the names of everyone (if it was a hard pull) that has pulled your credit and the date it was done for the last 24-months.
I look at credit every day for a living.
mitteycole
Yes I think so. Thats the purpose of pulling your report to see you credit activity
roginad
Depends...
If you authorized the pull, in most cases I can see the company name. If 3 bureaus in one credit pull (for mortgage, for example) then often no, but it is easy to assume that it was a mortgage credit request.
Any marketing pull without authorization is available for you but not for a anybody else.
By profession I am pulling 3-5 credit reports a day.
WooleyBooley again
If I remember right, they can see who inquired.
MajesticEm
They are kinda the same thing.. When someone views your credit report its called an inquiry.
cali_flwr
It doesn't just give a number of inquiries it lists the names of the places that did the credit checks on you.
mommacat
yes they can
Scouse
No but they know you have other debts and requests for information against you and if credit has been refused
SisterSue
NO they do not see who else has pulled your credit. They can see the number of inquiries in the past year, the number of "debts" you have, how much debt you have, your payment history...but they cannot see who all has looked at your score.
Only you can see that info.
starbrite.
NOT all of them.they get your credit scores and any bad credit and from whom.it depends on what
the want to pay for.
ToolManJobber
No, the names of creditors who have given you credit will appear but the inquiries are anonymous. They do take into consideration the number of inquiries though. You might have applied and been turned down numerous times and this is a red flag to some potential creditors.
