When someone runs a credit report check on you, does the report show all the places you have lived in the past
Most show where you have lived for the past 10-15 years...Depends on the extent of the background and credit check.....
bdancer222
Maybe, maybe not. It depends on whether the bureau even has the address. If you didn't fill out credit applications, it's possible for some of your former addresses not to show up at all.
The former addresses listed on the credit file isn't really a factor in your credit and most creditors probably don't even bother to look at the former addresses.
Ted
I have some (4) truly ancient addresses on mine and I haven't moved in 15 years.
Mark
Well, I've lived at my current address for 11 years and my previous address from birth-11 years ago. Both addresses are listed on my credit report, so I would say yes. Addresses don't seem to fall off after 7 years like negative information in a report.
cathy_smith68
depends on the bureau.. i just ran one on all 3, and the Experian report is the most lengthy and exhaustive.
You can get a free report from the irs
KD
It usually only shows 3 or 4!
jan-na~♥~ and im luvin it
depends on the bureau.usually they keep track of 2-4 previous address you used in applying for credit, loans etc
Laissez-Faire Guy
Not all. It usually shows the last 2 or 3.
Bravo
most do. depends upon the report length requested. the background check may only go back a certain number of years.
