yes they would. because if there is a visa or mastercard logo you use it as if it were a credit card. If there is no logo you cant use it to buy stuff online as far as I know.
It would def.say what it was. i buy stuff online all the time.

It would just say the transaction ID, the amount and the date.
E.g. If you bought something from Amazon for £10, it would say;
Amazon Ltd £10 21/10/2007 |

The transaction shows up with a date, transaction number, it can identify the merchant as it usally prints the name of where the transaction was made, and the amount. This is protection for the card holder in case it is fraudently used and an inquiry can be submitted showing who made the purchase. |

They won't know what you bought, but they will know where you bought it from (the company's name will show up on the bill). |

Depends on the store and the bank. My card tells a basic description and the company. So when I buy a shirt it will say womens knit top or something like that. If you do not want them to know what you bought then my best advice would be to get a Visa giftcard and just purchase what you want online. Good Luck! |

It does not matter what you use, credit card or debit cards,the statement only shows the name of the merchants. Some merchants use different name other than their trade name. If the name appear on your statement would be different, you would be notified at the time charges were made. Your parents will not know what you bought.
I have been using credit cards for more than 35 years, I never see a credit card company shows what I bought on my statements. |
