you could go to Annualcreditreport.com. The gov does allow you to see your credit score annually but there is NO place that gives you the score for free. I think on this site it cost 5 bucks or something. When you choose a credit reporting company don t go with Experian cause they are a bunch of dumb a*sses!

It's free to get your credit rports. You can either print them out, or have them mail it to you. You can order your credit score for like $5.
Don't use freecreditreport.com. You have to sign up & pay for something. |

I signed up for a Providian Visa credit card (which has recently changed to Washington Mutual) because they give you an updated FICO score for free each month. They report the information from TransUnion. It's safe and free. |
