You can check your credit report for free!
You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report from each of the 3 major credit monitoring bureaus once per year.
Go to www.annualcreditreport.com. This is the site recommended by the US Government (see the link below). It is a secure site and they will give you a free copy of your credit report. They charge you a little bit to get your actual credit score, but the report is free.
Don't be fooled by going to other scam sites. Many of them will offer you a free report IF you purchase some credit monitoring service or pay to join. The approved FREE site to use is www.annualcreditreport.com! |

There are three websites total that you can check your credit report in a one year times. So you can do it Three times in one year. But you should never be asked to input your credit card to check your report if you use one of these three websites. |

You can get a free credit report from the reporting agencies (ie. Experion) ONCE a YEAR for FREE. It will take some time, but it will get mailed to you. Just call them up. |

Do not put your information over the Internet I don't care what it says. For about $8.oo you can call TRW, EQIFAX they are all the same and talk to someone who you are safely giving your Social security # too and in about two weeks they will send you a print out of every thing you have paid, still owe or that is in collections. Anyone can get your info off the net. Be careful. Nothing is free |
