You don't judgments are public records and continue to show for either 7-years or until the statute of limitations runs out whichever is longer even if they are paid.
And by the way it's taken not tooking. |

A public record, judgement is like any other information it stays on your report for a certain amount of years 7-10 ? This information can be challenged, disputed and may or may not be deleted off of your report. I am not saying it can, but I have seen it done before. Not an easy task. |

You state past judgments, but if they are not paid then they are open. If they are paid, then the judgment will show closed. |

if the fault wasn't your own you can call the company itself thats putting the charge on your account as well as the three major credit bureaus. if it was yours, then the information takes 7 years to fall off. |

The problem with getting judgments removed is they are public records. The only way to get them removed is by filing a dispute, and hoping the credit bureau is so incompetent that they goof up and can't locate the records, or they just don't have the time to do it in a timely fashion.
If you have moved to a new address since the judgment was issued, you can try disputing it as "not mine". They will compare your current address to the one on the judgment, and MAY delete it. It's a longshot but this is now the scum at credit repair agencies do it. |

A court judgment is a permanent public record. It is available to credit bureaus and it is on public record databases. |

You can repair some of the damage by doing what you should have done in the first place-- by paying your bills and the judgments. When you run out on your bills, you are NOT the injured party so if there are judgments on your credit record, then you are the one who put yourself in your predicament. |
