The 'MONTH" begins when the card is purchased so it is highly realistic that upon reciept that person has 10 days to spend all the money or have 5 Bucks deducted from your acocunt each month

You can go to a local Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy and purchase a Pre-paid Green Dot card which is can be applicable as a Visa(greendot card) and others . If I remember correctly the limit was somewhere between $500-$1000. Although I do not remember anymore.
