If you haven't had any recent credit problems and the bulk of your credit problems were 6 or 7 years old, you can probably get a car loan. Be prepared to have a down payment and a high APR. As far as I'm concerned a car is something you really need, so I would take the hit on the %. Once you have the loan, keep it in good standings for a year and you'll be able to refinance for a lower APR. When you go to the car dealership, don't lie, tell them about your past credit problems, so you don't waste you time at a dealership that doesn't think they can help you. Plus don't run your credit everywhere you look. Find a car you like and then do the credit check. |

Although it will depend on a few factors, it is not impossible to obtain a mortgage loan for the purchase of a home even with credit issues. You need to first go to mortgage broker that know the loan programs best for your situation. Do this before you apply for new credit as each credit pull can affect your scores. |

You can try Americredit. They will have high interest rates though. Your best bet is to go to a dealership with a large chunk of money to put as a down payment. At least 6k. |

Go to a car dealership and tell them up front that you have had credit problems in the past. While they can usually find someone to finance your car, I must warn you the interest rates border on usury. You'd be better off to take public transportation and rent a car on the rare occasions that you need one. |

You should be good to go now,try getting a credit card from your bank with a small limit and try and pay the amount off b4 the time.My credit is shot messing with a man that meant well but was never wrong in his mother's eyes and messed my credit up.But I went to Colonial Chevrolet and got me and S.U.V.,I think people are more open to helping people with not so good credit they just ask for a higher deposit for reassurance. |
