Your ability to use the card is directly related to the amount of funds you have in your account.
If you have no money in the account that is connected to the card, you have no ability to legally use the card.
A debit card works when funds can be debited to cover the transaction. |

It depends on your banks policy. Most banks will pay minor amounts if your account is overdrawn but you will pay for each item you overdraft. Plus if you are unable to get your account in the positive then you will be charged more fees. If you still are unable to get your account positive then you will be sent to chexsystems. It is like a credit reporting agency for banks. You will not be able to open another bank account for 5 years. Think before you decide to overdraft your account. |

I think your debit card will still go through anywhere but you will be charged an insufficient funds fee from your bank each time you do it. |

You can't, its considered fraud if you knowingly use your card with no funds.
Lots of banks DO have a overdraft spending amount...try going to an ATM and just taking a couple hundred bucks out. Its built into your account and as long as you get into the positive within a couple weeks, they dont get real mad. |

I have never heard of debit/credit card it is one or the other debit is tied to a bank balance credit may be issued by a bank has nothing to do with money you have or have not in the bank most likely when you have no money in the bank shortly credit card will be called by issue r due to non payment. |

Just go to any store. Before you go in, cut all the phone lines. Then go in and use your card. All the machines will be unable to process approvals. |

yes you can you can go to tesco petrol station and use the pay at the pump if you have a pound in the bank you can fill upto 100 pound then quicky remove card do it again before it regersterd and fill up another100 pound we sell it to our friends but your bank will be --- |
