Definitely Visa, especially if you travel. Mastercard is just fine for the US and most of them offer better perks. |

It depends on your personal circumstances. It's easy for people to say "don't get one!", but sometimes life throws things at you and you need extra money!
#1 - Do you have money, loans, store cards to clear? If yes, then you should look for a cc that offers a 0% on balance transfers for longer then 6 months - this means you wont have to pay interest for the first 6 months of transfering balances.
#2 - Need new things? Make sure you get 0% on new purchases for AT LEAST 9 months! That'll mean for 9 months, you'll only be paying your balance not any interest.
Credit cards are good for people who are disaplined with money and can pay back a certain amount every month.
Work out how much you need on ur cc, then divide that by the amount of months you have interest free and see what you can afford before getting charged interest.
I have a Capital One card - when i got it, it was 0% on balance transfers with a small handling fee of 2%, 0% on new purchases for 1 year and free cash withdrawals!
Good luck x |

Visa, or go with Discover
You would be more likely to win a VISA dispute than a Mastercard.

it all depends on your credit but I thinkd that the best ones are the ones that give you rewards when you use them, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com under reward cards and you will be able to compare them side by side.

i would go with a credit card from where you bank. They have Visa's and Mastercards through them. |

I use the Nationwide Building Society Credit Card, currently 0% on purchases for 3 months and 0% on balance transfers for 10 months. Also if you use it abroad when you go on holiday for example, it's commision free usage abroad! If you buy an electrical or gas item over £50 with it you get 1 years free extra warranty...loads of benefits and NO SERVICE CHARGE! |

There isn't a best credit card.
But you could choose the best one for you according to your case.
You should know your credit, your status, your earning, your custom and so on... |
