I'd choose based on the terms offered, not the logo. (with the exception of amex cards because those are not accepted as widely as Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.) |
|

Ebb and Flow

The one that has the lowest fixed apr, or i you can find one with a 0% for a term and then switch. Its a bit more leg-work and hurts your credit score a bit, but its better than paying hundreds more in interest. |

Unless your really need a credit card...DON'T get one. But if you do I'd stay away from Capital One and Bank of America...and Chase. When you get a credit card...the credit card company owns you...basically...until you get it paid off...and if you had late payments they will continue to own you even after you have them paid off...because the late payments will still be on your credit report. You need to learn the EVILS of credit cards before you get one...and how to use them responsibly...if you get one. Know what your getting into. |
