i seriously need to hang myself
Which debt should i pay off first?
$1100 - credit card
$1000 - credit card
$687 - credit card
$697 - credit card
$650 - bills
$650 - phone bill
$400 - phone/internet bill
$2500 - study loan

should i pay each debt in full every month? or should i pay a minumum amount say about $200 for each debt every month?

A rule of thumb is you always want to prioritize all your payments. Make 100% minimum payments on all your credit cards. Then follow this list:

First off:
1) bills (assuming rent/hydro/water) - Need to have a house.
2) phone bill - Need to have a phone.
3) internet bill (assuming you need it for school)
4) Highest Interest Rate Credit Card
5) Second Highest Interest Rate Credit Card
6) Third Highest Interest Rate Credit Card
7) Lowest Interest Rate Credit Card
8) Study loan (tends to be at the lowest interest rate)

So yes make your minimum payments on everything but the highest priority/highest interest stuff first. This will save you a BUNCH in interest payments every month and help you get out of debt faster.

You always want to pay the minimum for each bill each month otherwise you would be hit with late fees which will hurt you even more. You should concentrate on paying off the lowest ones first so you don't have to worry about them anymore and then work on the rest.

well if you can then you should pay it off at the satrt of the month to save interest...and why do you have so many credit cards with small debts on them...get one with a big limit and just use the one...you save on annual fees plus any reward system will accumulate to a prize quicker

Pay the utilities first. Pay a little on everything. If you can pay a little more on the credit cards with the highest interest.
Call all of the companies and try to work out a payment plan.

Skip the phone bills. The worst they can do is to cut off your line. I cannot imagine anyone paying $1050 for phone and internet. Buy a phone card, they are a lot cheaper.

Every month pay _minimum_ required payments on everything, and put as much as you can toward your lowest credit card bill. That way you can see your progress fastest, and close some accounts.

Do this until all of your credit cards are paid, just making the minimum required payments on everything else.

When a credit card balance is paid in full, that's one less minimum payment to make and more to put toward paying something else off!

Cut up and/or cancel your credit cards when they're paid off.

Once the credit card debt is paid, pay your bills in the same way, taking on one at a time and making the absolute minimum balance on the other bills and your student loan.

Last, pay off the student loan - and you're debt free!

yay!

first, cut up all your credit cards. yeah sure it's nice ot have a card incase you need it but, if you really really really need your card you can just call up the credit card company and get a replacement in a couple of days. best thing is cut it all up so you don't charge anymore that you can't afford.

pay the minimum on each account so you have no late fee and put whatever is left plus extra if you can on the highest interest rate one.
don't close the account, keep it open it helps with your fico score. just don't charge anymore!! how they rate your fico score has something to do with available credit to debt ratio.
do the same the next month.. start paying off all the high interest rates first and stop charging..
when you've paid off ALL your debt you can then ask for a replacement card to one account and use just that one card but pay off your balance every month! just keep an eye out for the accounts that have 0 balance that there is no unwanted activities on the account.

I think you should go for a debt consolidation program where the debt counselor would total your debts and income and will consolidate your debts into fixed single monthly payment by providing you with an affordable debt management plan. The payment then would be distributed to your creditors.

Here is the source of a debt consolidation company named http://ezconsolidation.com for your reference

Whatever you do, DON'T Pay a LITTLE on each every month, as you'll only see the Debt grow. You have to be able to pay on the Outstanding Amount, and not just the Interest. on a $1000 Debt, with a 24% Interest Rate (Hypothetically Speaking) you're looking at 2% Interest Every Month. That's $20 Per month in Interest, and if the Minimum is a 1% Payment every Month, and you pay the Minimum, or Slightly Above the Minimum (Say $20 Per Month), Then guess what? You've still got $1000 in Debt for as long as you Pay $20 Per Month. If you pay the Minimum of $10 per Month, then the Debt will actually grow by $10 Per month. Make sure you're paying at least the Interest on ALL The Debts per month(So they don't grow, because that's a common mistake people make), and then Focus on Paying off the Bills & Study Loan First, and then the Credit Cards. Basically I would highly recommend Making at Least the Interest Payments each month, to maintain the Debts on which you're willing to wait to pay, and then put much more per month on the Bills and Loan which you'll need to pay off first. Eventually all your debt will be gone (So Long as you don't keep spending those Credit Cards)

Obviously, if you can afford to, you should pay off each bill every month. If you can't afford that, you need to do a few things - I assume you are asking because you are somewhat strapped for cash. First, you list over $1,000 in phone internet bills - you need to start by reducing that to a much more manageable figure - say $100 - 150 month (cell, home phone, internet or possibly cable/internet.). next, look at your credit card bills and arrange them in order from highest to lowest interest. Make minimum payments on the lowest interest cards and as much as you can on the highest interest card until it is paid off, then start on the next and work your way down. As you pay off the card, cut it up.

Since you don't mention what the last $650 in bills is, I can't tell you what to do with it, but if is utilities, you need to make sure you pay them each month.

Once you have paid everything off, if you still need a credit card, take out the one with the lowest interest and then out on the internet and compare it to low interest rate cards. If you can do better, apply for one and use the new one..if you already have a low interest rate card, use that one. Try to pay it off monthly to avoid interest (saving money). Once you've paid everythign off, take one of those $200 payments you were going to make every month and put it in a savings account.

Pay SMALLEST. WORK YER WAY FROM SMALLEST 2 LARGEST. however, u WANNA PUT EVERYTHING ON THE BACK BURNER if & only if YER AROUND THE POVERTY LEVEL. doing so will help u build 1'st, a $$$ cushion 4 yourself. THEN & ONLY then should U focus on 1 bill @ a time. NOW if U get L8 fees go thru ALL yer bills & weed out the infl8ed 1's & pay what U originally owed B4 all the Xtra fees. When u weed out the higher 1's, shred them!!!!! Now w/ the lower amt bills, cross out yer current address & put the bill away til u can pay it. When yer creditors send ANY mail U DO have the legal option 2 write on RETURN TO SENDER but DO NOT open it. theis'll give them the idea yer gone. if they keep sending stuff, keep repeating RETURN TO SENDER & sending it back.
