They arnt bad, its the people who use them are bad...some of them
Credit cards are for people who hate carrying a wad of cash around, credit cards are more of a space saver...
when people buy things with a credit card, they have to pay the money back to the company on the amount they owe...if they dont pay back, the payment goes up little by little, then it sky rockets like nuts....so..if u ppl plan on getting a credit card, hope u are loyal ..hehe |

well they arent bad, they are only bad for people who arent responsible because since its not coming out and account with money it gives you money and people use use use and not pay on it then they get in debt because they cant pay it off,.... kinda like our(US) economy |

Irresponsibility is the only bad thing about them. People get carried away and make dumb purchases they can't afford and then end up buried under debt that they'll never be able to pay off.
On the flip side, it's irresponsible not to have one for emergencies. Every adult should have a credit card. When used responsibly they'll make everything you buy with credit cheaper by improving your credit score. |

they're bad because people use them & then when its time to pay they don't have money! thats when people get into debts! & it can ruin lives :] |

Simply because people will spend more than they can pay off. They will spend thousands and when the time comes when they have to pay it off, they don't have the money. |

People are just too ready to swipe the card and dont realize how much they've actually spent until its all gone. W/ bills at least you can physically see the money |

People think oh I will just use the card. Then they keep saying that until they are way in debt. People just don't have enough self control. |

Credit cards are not bad. In fact, unless you have some kind of good credit history, you will find it impossible (unless you're filthy rich) to buy a car or a house.
The problem is people are uneducated about how the whole credit system works, and they abuse it. Credit is a tool. It can be very helpful at times, and sometimes you get rewards like sky miles, or cash back. How can that be bad? |

You can spend money that you don't have, which builds up debt. They are easy to get and unless you are responsible you can end up owing a lot of money to the company.
I say don't spend money you don't have, unless it's something like a home or car you are buying, but that most likely wouldn't be on a credit card. |

People tend to use them to finance things. So if you buy something like say furniture on credit cards you don't know what the total will cost. The rate can go to over 30% when you though it was 2.99% or something. |

probably cause people use them to much. when they use so much money, they won't be able to pay it back. it might give u freedom, but u have a big responsibility |

Credit Cards are bad because they influence you into the idea that you can pay for whatever the heck you want. Its not true. You HAVE to pay later and most cant keep up with it. Some fall into the trap that getting more will help them out of it but it just digs them deeper into the hole their trapped in. |

There bad because it makes people spend money they don't have. That's why sensible people have debit cards. Which are basically bank cards, this allows them to spend the money they have in the banks, so they don't get into problems and don't have to be in debt |

Well, credit cards urge ppl to buy more. Buying more means you have to pay more. Paying more means you'll eventually become broke, and die. Haha. J/K |
