Seriously it means we would only be slaves to a credit card company. So who are we really working for and why is our country debit base and not positively based. Wouldn't it be better to take care of your family first or is everyone so brain washed to think the credit card compainies care what happens to us? |

Paying off credit card debt is a good thing.The problem with not doing so is... you lose.First of all,you lose your credit rating.That in itself today (in this day and age of usury) is too valuable to put a price on.Secondly, you become a high risk for lending institutions based on your bad credit rating.Thus, when you borrow money (If they will even lend it to you) you will pay higher interest rates for it because of the risk that you've become to banks.Based on what you have said you are a slave to a credit card company.But guess what? You allowed them to handcuff you,and place you into that bondage.
There is one one here to blame but yourself.You are reaping the hardships of the seeds of misfortune that you have sown.
A word to the wise is sufficient. |

Well, lets see because paying them off is a good thing beside not paying any interest you can actually make money off of your credit cards.
I have 2 that I use for everything and pay them off in full every month, between them they paid me over $300.00 last year for using their money for free. |

Paying off your credit card is a good thing. If you carry a balance, you are paying interest. Interest that keeps adding up.
Only a small portion of your payment goes towards paying down the amount you owe. Most of it goes towards interest.
The interest does nothing for your family. The money that you spend on interest could go towards taking care of your family. |

The best thing is to not have credit card debt, obviously. But if you do, the best thing is to pay it off asap. Otherwise, you are paying interest to the company. Or if you don't pay it at all, you are just a slimeball who doesn't keep their agreement.
Debt is financial cancer.
Just my opinion, of course. |

If people are so worried about their families, what are they doing racking up huge amounts of cc debt at 20% interest. Of course the cc companies don't care, they are a business. It comes down to personal responsibility, plain and simple, if you don't have the money, don't buy it. I don't think people wanting to take care of their financial responsibilities make them brainwashed. |

Why are you so brain washed that you think not paying off you credit card debts in good??????? if you spend $1000 on a credit card and pay min payment, the item you bought is going to cost you 3 times the amount of the item or more depending on the rate. Yes it is better to take care of your family, but not by using credit cards and paying high interest. Do you know if you spend $5,000 on a credit card and make min payments it will take you 30 years to pay it off and how much do you think that $5,000 cost you in interest $15,000, $20,000. Thats cash you could use for your family. Your statement makes no since and you sound like you work for a Credit Card company. I guess you like giving your money away to credit card companies insted of your family. Think about!!!! |

Well, seems like you are quite determine of not paying off your credit cards. If you don't pay them and if you owe a lot of money, they can suit you bankruptcy. And if you are bankrupt, they can take away your house, your car and your every month income will be forcibly deducted to repay your debt. You will not get any more loan, no loan, no house, no car, how then you are going to take care of your family?
By the way, when you charged to your card, the bank pays for your expenses with money from other people deposited with them. |
