Age, Credit history, lack of income history are the most common reasons. If you have applied for one they are required give you the reason they denied you credit. In most states that comes with the denial notice but if not you can write and ask. |

If you have filed for one and been rejected then there should have been a reason given. If not you need to ask why. Most of the time reasons are given. You need to elaborate more on what exactly you applied for, how old you are and whether or not you have a checking account/savings account. Believe it or not a savings account tells them that you are thinking ahead of the game and you have a cushion if needed to pay a credit card off.

Have you taken the time out to check what your credit history looks like? By law you are entitled to receive one free credit file disclosure every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies – Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ for a free credit report.
Banks will often reject an application for a credit card if the applicant has bad credit. The factors that determine whether or not a person has good or bad credit include:
* On-time payment history
* Outstanding debt
* Length of credit history
Does this sound like you?
You can also request information from the credit card company for the reason why they rejected you.
If the situation is your credit history then you may want to educate yourself and read "The Attorney's Guide To Credit Repair". David Shapiro is the author and he has been in the credit repair industry for 27 years. I can't recommend this book enough. His formula is really effective, and it can help raise your score really fast.

sometimes its because you have no credit scoring you need to have credit to get credit i know it sounds daft also if you have bad credit something you never paid or even if you arent on the electrol role these things all go against you if you have a bank account and have been with your bank for a long time try them first |

Perhaps your credit rating isn't high enough. Go to http://www.mycashplus.com and apply for one of their Mastercards. They don't do a credit check, because they don't give you any credit. The card comes with zero credit and you go into the post office and pay money onto the card which you can then use in the same way you would use any real credit card. When the credit is done, you just can't use the card again until you pay more money onto it. It works just like a pay-as-you-talk mobile phone. But the best thing is, anyone can get one, and there's no credit checks at all. They won't decline you - guaranteed. |
