Serious question or obsession?
Humans do not understand the answers to why questions. No human knows why we die, all they can do is guess.
How can death be stopped? How questions are different. Theoretically, death can be stopped by preventing aging. Currently this is being investigated, but so far slowing it down is the best that humans can do. The prime obstacle is the item in the physical universe called entropy. Things (including cells in the human body) tend to become less ordered during the passage of time. Some might say that the matter in the universe becomes more chaotic.
Life tends to set physical matter into a more orderly state. One might say that life is the opposite of entropy.
With this in mind, I will give you my opinion of the question of death (and you thought that I was skipping this above). Without death, life would predominate. The balance between physical order and chaos would be disrupted. Death is necessary to maintain this balance.
I'll leave the question of what death is alone because you did not ask. |

3rd chapter of Genisis tells the account of how Satain had told the first lie and decieved the first human couple. This inhearited imperfection is with us today, it can only by removed by the creator himself, Jehovah God. This is why he sent his most precious and loved angel to earth to take on humman form and to have to suffer death as a humman and die as a redeamer for all of us that those excercising faith and following the example Jesus set on the earth would have an opportunity to live on a restored earth where Satain and his wicked influences have been removed and our bodys will be returned to perfection, just the same as the first couple lost, and God's word through the bible says "death and suffering will be no more."
